Bracket Clocks

Bracket Clocks The term bracket clock is used to describe any large (normally English) mantel/table clock. The bracket upon which the clock could stand was popular in the latter part of the 18th and early 19th centuries and the term still persists and is a broad name to define any of the larger wood clocks.
