A fine Biedermeier Grand Sonnerie Vienna regulator. Strikes the ¼ hours and hours every hour on two gongs. Strike/silent, pull repeat, dead-beat escapement. Lovely single piece ceramic dial with quality pie crust bezel. Beetle and Poker hands. The stunning case is in rosewood with satinwood stringing to the window and backboard etc. Ebonised pillar and top moulding set off by water gilt carvings at the crest, tail and pillar capitals.
