A handsome 8 day longcase clock by James Pike (1), Newton Abbot (C.1728-d.1798). Good quality movement, striking the hours on a bell. Lovely 12” dial with painted rocking ship, engraved silvered centre with seconds and calendar feature. The mahogany case has a lovely colour & finish, with blind fret to the hood & long trunk door.
