An unusual and high quality 8” Brass dial wall clock by William Tannner High St Islington (listed 1845-51) Massive fusee movement with very thick plates and a high standard of finish. The well engraved signed and silvered dial set off by dainty blued steel hands and thick bevelled glass to the locked cast bezel. Unusually, the pretty case is in rosewood (veneers on mahogany) with carved applied swag below the dial.
